A set of lively typographic tote bags recollecting some of cinema’s most loved film franchises.

I was asked by Digital Cinema Media to create a set of tote bags to celebrate what they know best—great cinema. Each one of the bags focussed on a particular film franchise, including Star Wars, James Bond and the MCU, and reminisced on some of their finest moments through a selection of iconic quotes. To keep things on brand I used DCM’s typeface, but brought energy and life to the artwork by tweaking and adapting the lettering, as well as including some simple illustrative elements. 

On the other side of each bag was also a simple illustration to accompany the typographic artwork, featuring Iron Man, James Bond and an X-Wing.
